Dentist recommended this for cleaning under a new dental bridge I had fitted. They are great for this purpose and work well for other areas of my mouth too - as its got a fluffy edge, i have also soaked in Corsodyl and then flossed in areas where i have had bleeding gums. They are a piece of dental floss that has a stiff, slightly curved end that leads to a fluffy bit of floss and the other end is just ordinary dental floss. Essentially the stiffened bit makes its easier to thread it between your teeth and it is clear that someone has actually thought this product through.

I won't use any other dental floss although do still use interdental brushes as whilst this has a fluffy bit, its not as good as brushes for bigger gaps. I use this mainly for cleaning under the dental bridge and its perfect for this - because its not just a thin wire of floss it s much more comfortable to clean with and less coarse on my gums so for those with sensitive gums it is ideal.

Pros - stiff and fluffy bits designed for ease of use and comfort
Cons - packet is a bit difficult to rip open and this with dexterity issues may have issues getting them out of the packaging.

I have previously ordered superfloss from a different supplier on here before and was fairly certain it wasn’t the real deal , it was far too thick and the packaging didn’t look quite right . I’m pleased to say this is definitely the real deal ! Thinner , glides in between teeth and implants perfectly with no tugging or making my gums sore . Excellent price and delivered swiftly . I will be buying again

The firmer end of the floss seems to be a little softer, as if the product has been sat for a while or perhaps a manufacturing issue. This is the most important part of the product for me to be able to instert between my teeth where I have a fixed retainer. Mine may have just been a bad batch, I don't normally have an issue with this floss. I'm yet to find a better floss that works with a fixed retainer so will continue to purchase anyway.

We love this type of dental floss as it cleans the teeth most effectively as it expands when you tug on it. When it expands it collects far more food pieces than regular dental floss. It has a slight minty flavor to it, but it is not overpowering like some flosses.
However, we do not like that it has such short length of the actual part you floss with as we expected for the spongy floss material to run the whole length of the precut floss piece.
Overall the price was pretty decent when on sale and it is always prudent to protect your dental health. Future you will thank you.

So ultrafloss came in a handy pot, this stuff you get in individual pieces which are just in a plastic bag, the thin bit cuts your hand, I only really wanted the ultrafloss bit, the thin bit is quite thick so is hard to get in between your teeth.a really frustrating user experience. I miss ultrafloss!
