Julie Anne Payne (July 10, 1940 – June 7, 2019) was an American actress. She appeared in television and movies between 1959 and 1967. Payne's credits include movies Honeymoon Hotel (1964), Island of the Blue Dolphins (1964) and Don't Make Waves (1967), and series such as The Big Valley and The Wild Wild West.

She married screenwriter Robert Towne in 1977, and later divorced. The couple had a daughter. Payne died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on June 7, 2019. She was 78.[1]
Julie Payne (b. 1946) is an actress who appeared in the Puppetman pilot as Rita, the human star of "Dragon Time." She was also heard in animated inserts on Sesame Street.[1] Active both on and off-screen, Payne often played hard-nosed businesswomen, as a regular on The Duck Factory (with Jim Carrey and Jay Tarses) and in guest spots on The Bob Newhart Show, Full House, Murphy Brown, and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Other credits include the regular role of Queen Lattinia on Wizard's and Warriors and recurring appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm as Cheryl's mom. As a voice actress, Payne played a variety of roles in the Garfield specials and series, including Liz the vet and Lanolin the sheep, and was heard in George Lucas's film THX 1138 and the animated feature Twice Upon a Time (as Flora Fauna). Julie Kathleen Payne is a voice and character actress, and was a member of the improv group The Committee. Payne's first filmed appearance was in Celebration at Big Sur, the 1971 concert film of the 1969 Big Sur Folk Festival, where she performed the song "Changes" with Mimi Fariña and Stephen Stills.
